Que Mas Restaurant | 114 Rantoul St, Beverly, MA

Que Mas is a Modern Latin Kitchen in Beverly, MA. Taking over the former location of Frank, this project required updates to the styling and all interior finishes to compliment the colorful, fresh and vibrant cuisine of the incoming chefs. Custom lighting fixtures, bold paint colors, modern artwork and the addition of a few arch details made this space feel more bespoke. Mercurio Design Studio not only helped curate the new palette, but also helped develop the logo and branding package, drawing inspiration from one of the owner’s personal collection of tinned fish.

Completed June 2024

Beantrust Coffeebar | 151-1/2 Hale St, Beverly, MA

Beantrust is a small local coffee bar nestled in a quiet residential community. Having opened at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic 2020, this space has quickly gained a local cult following for simple staples like locally-roasted coffee and fresh baked bread. As their team is actively up-scaling their coffee consulting program and web operations for all-things beans, this space was ready for some big upgrades before stepping into their next phase of development. Mercurio Design Studio is currently helping to renovate both the interior and exterior, with a new revised layout, additional window seating, custom merchandising area, and a bright, revitalized color palette. In conjunction with the expanded outdoor seating and event space, these changes will help this neighborhood jewel to accommodate more happy customers.

This project is set for completion Fall 2024.

Row House Remodel | Boston, MA

This was a full-gut remodel of a historic single-family row house in East Boston. Originally built in 1875, this client wanted a new kitchen, entry hall and dining room that was historically sensitive and respectful of the building’s original materials. New appliances, Danby marble countertops, all new custom cabinetry and brushed brass plumbing fixtures helped increase storage space and make the kitchen much more functional. Removing the lowered ceiling and exposing the house’s original historic beams made the spaces feel more open. Warm earthy colors, carefully-selected hardware and textured glass lighting fixtures helped harmonize this ground-floor space with the remainder of the historic house’s interior.

Completed in 2020.

Primary Bedroom | Beverly, MA
